WHY PLAY THERAPY?

It was not until I started working with children and youth in Child Protection, that I realised there is a huge gap in developmentally appropriate therapeutic support for children. I became interested in learning about Play Therapy, where the child leads the play and communication is through play rather than requiring words as it would be evident the child would be in their natural and most comfortable environment

FAVOURITE TOY IN THE PLAYROOM?

I enjoy watching children use their creative side, whether this be through drawing, painting, or acting something out!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU'RE NOT AT WORK?

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family at the river.
